Want to be featured in Disabled And Here?

We are now going through the responses and scheduling folx for our disability and queerness shoot!

We are looking for 4 disabled and chronically ill QTPOC (queer and trans people of color) to participate in a Disabled And Here stock photography & portrait shoot and be interviewed!

You must be around Oregon, Washington, or Vancouver, BC; over 18; and onsite in Portland, Oregon for the photo shoot. The interview can be done remotely.

Our theme for the first shoot is disability and queerness. We want you to bring your full selves as disabled QTPOC — modeling your own mobility aids if you’ve got them and representing different body sizes/types, sexual orientations, and gender identities.

We’re shooting in late March early Spring (date pending) and hoping to have photos and interviews posted starting in late May. To encourage widespread adoption, the stock photo collection will be downloadable for free under a Creative Commons attribution license.
